Builds and maintains a GCP cloud platform for application deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, cloud networking and security (IAM, VPC, monitoring), while supporting application teams and sharing 24/7 on-call. Hybrid role in Kraków on a B2B contract.
Czym będziesz się zajmować?
- Building and developing the GCP platform that enables application deployments
- Engineering solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Integrating, configuring and maintaining cloud services: IAM, networking, logging, operating systems, containers
- Managing SDN in GCP (VPC, Shared VPC)
- Working with hardened Linux and Windows OS images
- Ensuring compliance with security and operational risk standards (network, firewall, monitoring, availability, resiliency)
- Building and developing CI/CD and continuous testing processes
- Implementing patches, supporting non-functional testing and updating documentation
- Supporting application teams with troubleshooting
- Preparing impact assessments for platform changes and applying good change management practices
- Taking part in a rotational on-call schedule as part of 24/7 support
Kogo poszukujemy?
- Experience building services with a cloud provider (ideally GCP)
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and related tools
- Experience configuring SDN in the cloud (VPC, XPN) and an understanding of physical networks (subnetting, NAT, routing)
- Knowledge of security and compliance: IAM (ADFS, OAuth), auditing and monitoring tools
- Very good skills in at least one language: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Groovy or Scala
- Experience in full automation and configuration management
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly to varied audiences
- Comfort working with application teams and global IT teams in an agile environment
- Understanding of risk management and experience working in a regulated environment
