Remote OK; PST or nearby time zone preferred. Posted via Creative People Inc.

Mid-level Generalist Designer

About the Opportunity:

A fast-growing global fitness and wellness brand is looking for a flexible, experienced generalist designer to support its work around their event series, spanning both physical event materials and digital marketing. The team moves quickly, so this role calls for someone who can hit the ground running and own projects independently from day one. It starts part-time up to 20 hours per week and runs through the end of 2026, with room to take on more hours as capacity and demand line up. Depending on fit and 2027 planning, it could turn into a longer-term or temp-to-hire opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own trade-show activation materials end to end, including booth design and fabric walls
  • Create digital campaign assets such as email blasts and website banners
  • Juggle several smaller, quick-turn projects in parallel as workloads shift week to week
  • Keep stakeholders proactively updated on project status
  • Support organic social work during lighter periods as needed

What’s Required:

  • A portfolio showing true generalist range across print, environmental/event design, email, web, and other digital formats, not just one specialty or single large-scale campaigns
  • Proven ability to own projects with minimal direction or supervision
  • Strong design judgment to deliver polished work with few rounds of iteration
  • Organized, self-sufficient, and reliable in a fast-paced environment

What’s Preferred:

  • Based in PST or a nearby time zone (remote is fine)
  • Agency experience, especially at digital or performance-oriented agencies

What’s a Bonus:

  • Fitness, wellness, or health industry experience (not required)
  • Experience on a growing team where you helped shape processes
