Growth Manager - US to Ghana

You'll drive LemFi's expansion across Ghanaian communities in the United States and Canada. This is a growth role built on travel, community, and hands-on execution. You'll spend 3 to 5 days every few weeks in a new US or Canadian city, representing LemFi at Ghanaian community events, building partnerships, and accelerating user acquisition. You're not running growth from a desk. You're embedded in the communities you serve, acting as both a strategic thinker and a ground-level operator. You'll own growth outcomes for your assigned markets, working closely with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Operations while serving as the internal voice of the user.

Responsibilities

  • Travel across the USA and Canada 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing on-the-ground presence in new cities
  • Attend community events, build and expand LemFi's community network, network with local leaders and organizations
  • Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to Ghanaian ex-pat communities in the US and Canada
  • Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights
  • Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness and advocacy for LemFi
  • Organize and participate in local events, meetups and forums
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners
  • Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with relevant organizations and businesses to accelerate user growth
  • Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes
  • Conduct ongoing market research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences
  • Provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams
  • Serve as the internal voice of the user, representing community perspectives in decision-making

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing or similar
  • Deep understanding of the Ghanaian community in the United States and Canada
  • Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results
  • Strong data-driven mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial and tenacious approach
  • Self-motivated and effective working independently and in remote environments
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work occasional weekends
