General Description and Qualifications: King’s Way Christian Schools, located in Vancouver, Washington, is a private, Christian school serving students from 12 months to the 12th grade. Our mission is to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education for the whole child, leading to life change in each student.

We are currently seeking a Head Girls Soccer Coach to join our Athletics Department. This position supports the core values of King’s Way Christian Schools, and a successful candidate combines spiritual maturity with the ability to impact the lives of high school students. General duties include: practice and game coaching, supervision of athletes, scheduling of games, practices, and transportation, communication with parents, and budget management.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct and supervise all practices
  • Organize and implement game strategies
  • Develop and evaluate player performance
  • Responsible for establishing a positive and process oriented team culture
  • Ongoing and regular communication with student athletes and parents regarding the program vision, philosophy, tactics, and schedule
  • In coordination with the Athletic Department, appropriately manage the program budget and track and maintain all equipment and uniforms.
  • Supervise student athletes before during and after practices and games
  • Partner with the Athletic Department to provide an excellent and meaningful student athlete experience.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of Assistant Coach(es)
  • Plan and execute an off-season training schedule.
  • Partner with the Athletic Department to organize summer camps, clinics, and other program development opportunities.
  • Model Christian character in interactions with coaches, players, referees, parents, and the broader community.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
