Human Resources Intern
This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company.
Job Summary
The Human Resources Intern's goal is to understand day-to-day operations within the SERVPRO organization. Through interning with our Human Resources team, the intern will obtain an understanding of business drivers and industry trends. The Human Resources Intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in corporate human resources and talent acquisition. The Human Resources Intern will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to their growth and development.
You will
- Participate in weekly intern activies as scheduled and assigned.
- Attend team meetings and department events.
- Participate in special projects related to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, payroll and benefits, and HR process improvement.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, culture events, and belonging programs.
- Support HR compliance efforts by maintaining personnel records and ensuring adherence to company policies and employment regulations.
You have
- Strong interest in Human Resources.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee and business information.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and creative mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
