HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission HVAC systems such as chillers, VRF systems, and air handling units (AHUs) in accordance with project specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts to ensure reliable system performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, replacing components as required.
• Prepare maintenance reports, maintain accurate service records, and provide technical guidance to junior technicians when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, environmental regulations, building codes, and maintain effective communication with clients regarding service issues and solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or relevant vocational certification.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting commercial or industrial air conditioning systems.
• Good knowledge of VRF and chiller systems, with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
