In Room Dining | Server AM Part Time

JOB PURPOSE: To provide exemplary service all guests according to Omni standards ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Adhere to all Omni rules, policies, procedures, and standards Greet guests by utilizing the All-In impression standards set forth by Omni Set tables according to type of event and service standards as directed by leadership Suggestively sell items and answer questions/offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests Record transaction in MICROS system in a timely manner Adhere to cash handling standardsEnsure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage Present accurate check to guest and process payment Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day Station set-up and breakdown/side-work Perform any other duties as assigned by leadership Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 1 year serving experience  Must acquire TIPS and ServSafe certifications  Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines  Previous cash handling experience required  Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers  Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS  Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor  Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department  Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment  Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills  Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:  Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms  Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments
