You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) in the NETWORKS SERVICES BRANCH, C4 SHORE INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING DIVISION, PLANS, PROGRAMS AND REQUIREMENTS DEPARTMENT at NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION PACIFIC.

You will implement networking policies, directives, standards and procedures on technical and funding issues relating to the management and operations of NCTAMS PAC and facilities for the Department of the Navy (DON).

You will plan and program new networks, base telecommunications systems and modernization upgrades.

You will provide recommendations and decisions on issues, problems, and unusual technical situations involving policy and interpretation of conflicting standards, regulations, and procedures.

You will develop mid and long range plans related to Government Cost Estimates (GCE) to budget and program for future networking services.

You will perform evaluations of the command’s work centers business processes to develop IT tools solutions to create efficiencies in time on task and operating costs.

You will act as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or the Alternate Contracting Officer’s Representative (ACOT).

You will assist in the preparation of financial and Life Cycle Management (LCM) documentation for new acquisitions as well as for the operation and maintenance of existing systems.
