You will support the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and advise the Command Information Officer (CIO) in implementing and maintaining the Command's cybersecurity program.
You will ensure information systems remain compliant with the Department of the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) by developing, maintaining, and reviewing authorization documentation, security controls, and continuous monitoring activities.
You will monitor the cybersecurity posture of assigned information systems, identify vulnerabilities and risks, coordinate corrective actions, and verify timely remediation.
You will administer and monitor cybersecurity tools and services, analyze security events and vulnerabilities, investigate potential incidents, and coordinate response and reporting activities with appropriate stakeholders.
You will assist the ISSM in conducting risk assessments, evaluating proposed system changes, and recommending technical and administrative safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and data.
