Infrastructure Engineer (SAN, Server Virtualisation)

Salary: $30,000 – $45,000 per month

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain, configure and monitor storage, server and network infrastructure

• Handle data center site preparation, hardware installation and operational maintenance

• Work with internal teams and contractors on implementation projects for IT infrastructure systems

• Evaluate and assess IT products during procurement and participate in the testing and implementation of new IT products and devices

• Apply system patches, firmware updates and digital certificates to ensure compliance with up-to-date security policies and guidelines

• Provide technical support to meet users' IT needs in daily operations and events

• Work under pressure and be willing to work overtime as required to meet project and operational needs

• Provide on-call technical support duties and perform overtime work, including work outside of normal office hours, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as and when necessary

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computing or related subjects

• At least three (3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least two (2) years in a related area such as infrastructure and network administration

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly with users and contractors

• Experience in Linux system installation and administration

• Good communication skills

• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese
