Summary
Leads enterprise network and security operations in Hong Kong — overseeing LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN and SD-WAN, driving incident response, security policy, compliance and infrastructure projects. Core stack is Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Huawei, with CCNP mandatory and CCIE preferred.
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per month
Job Duties:
Manage and oversee daily operations of enterprise network environments, including LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and SD-WAN infrastructures, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem management activities to minimize service disruptions.
Establish, monitor, and continuously improve network performance metrics, service levels, and operational KPIs.
Plan, implement, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, including deployment, upgrades, technology refreshes, and decommissioning.
Develop and enforce network security policies, firewall governance, access controls, and cybersecurity best practices.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards through proper documentation, controls, and operational procedures.
Lead infrastructure and network-related projects, including office relocations, network expansions, system integrations, and technology transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to maintain a scalable, secure, and standardized network architecture.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to infrastructure and support teams when required.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure support, with strong expertise in network and security management.
In-depth knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, and SD-WAN.
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security solutions, including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Huawei technologies.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security operations, and monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, Trellix, and Skyhigh Security.
Proven experience in network design, capacity planning, performance optimization, and operational management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk assessment, and business process improvement skills.
Knowledge of automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), AI-enabled operations, and network monitoring platforms will be an advantage.
CCNP certification is mandatory; CCIE certification is highly preferred.
Additional certifications such as HCIP, HCIE, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Palo Alto PCNSE, CISSP, CISA, and ITIL are advantageous.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is required
