Summary
IT Business Analyst at PERSOL Singapore (a staffing firm placing candidates with clients): gathers and documents business and non-functional requirements, runs data/process analysis and workshops, performs testing and deployment support, and coordinates IT and vendors to deliver enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, payroll, finance, billing and CRM. Job Description
Collaborate with business stakeholders on business and non-functional requirements to ensure they are well gathered and documented, translate to specifications.
Perform analysis (data, business process mapping, system flows), business case and functional documentation, and facilitate workshops on requirement discussions/gathering.
Perform technical reviews, test scenario creation and reviews, testing and support deployment for IT projects
Lead discussion with ITD and/or vendors to identify appropriate IT solutions, establish scope and timeline, and monitor the deliverables are achieved on time and with quality
Proactive communications and status update to business stakeholders, and ITD management.
Ensure effective solution/application support to business users and issue resolution within agreed service level by working with the respective ITD/vendor teams. Provide link between end users and development team regarding software functionality.
Support Project Team to manage vendors to deliver application evolutions, maintenance and support tasks.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise or regional application management, including application maintenance, enhancements, and project delivery.
Professional certifications such as CBAP, Scrum Master, PMP, or ITIL are an advantage.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and enterprise application architecture, including application, infrastructure, integration, and security components.
Experience with enterprise business applications such as ERP, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Billing, or CRM systems.
