IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (APPSW)

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.

Monitor, diagnose, and resolve system trouble tickets and production incidents; restore system functionality and performance in an Oracle DB, PL/SQL and UNIX environment.

Collaborate with IT specialists, project managers, developers, and functional users to ensure system availability, adequacy, and efficiency

Perform configuration, change, and release-management activities in accordance with established procedures.

Provide environment management support that includes duties for audit, security, and compliance requirements.

Write and execute SQL queries; document incidents, resolutions, system changes, issues, and operational procedures, as required.
