IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT/INFOSEC)

Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.

Provides skilled IT advice and support regarding a variety of client/customer issues to include installation, recovery, troubleshooting, modification.

Implements and monitors contingency planning requirements for IT. Plans and conducts IT contingency annual exercises for DFAS systems.

Conducts risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.

Promotes awareness of security issues among management and ensures sounds principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals.
