IT Engineer (German Speaking)
Summary
Nanotek, an IT solutions provider, is hiring a German-speaking IT Engineer to deliver first-line end user support (desktops, printers, mobiles) and infrastructure administration on-site, with occasional travel to European client sites. Core stack: Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Exchange.
Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year
Requirements:- Diploma or engineering degree along with MSCE or CNE qualification
- In-depth experience in end user support, including VIP support
- Experience with installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, servers, and networks
- Experience with Windows Servers (200/12)
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory
- MCP qualification
- Bilingual in English and German
- Full UK driving licence required
- Ability to travel to other European client sites
- Accurately test, identify, repair, resolve, and document end user technical issues
- Provide support for desktops, printers, handhelds, smartphones, and iPads
- Provide 1st line IT support services to the business community
- Perform infrastructure administration functions
- Provide on-site cover as part of a shift arrangement
