Ludlum Measurements, Inc. is seeking a driven and personable IT Helpdesk Technician to support our operations in Sweetwater, TX. This entry-level position is ideal for a problem-solver eager to launch a career in IT. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our organization's technical needs, handling day-to-day support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, allowing you to learn enterprise-level IT practices, including Active Directory, virtualization, and security environments. We value a problem-solving mindset and strong communication skills over prior technical experience.

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person


Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Hardware & Peripherals: Basic knowledge of troubleshooting PCs, laptops, and office printers.
  • Networking: knowledge of IP, DNS, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Problem-Solving: A "can-do" attitude and patience when assisting others.
  • Ticketing: Experience with help desk ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned




Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
