IT Infrastructure & Site Support Senior Executive

About the role

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments and enterprise applications. Configure and troubleshoot networking devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs and wireless networks. Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments and enterprise applications.

• Configure and troubleshoot networking devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs and wireless networks.

• Support system administration, including user management, access control and system performance monitoring.

• Implement security measures such as endpoint protection, access policies and vulnerability assessments.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues to minimise downtime.

• Monitor system performance, logs and alerts to identify issues early, and use root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.

• Manage IT asset inventory and keep system configurations properly documented.

• Assist in developing and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and ensure backups are working and periodically tested.

• Assist in planning and delivering IT infrastructure projects, upgrades and changes with minimal disruption to the business.

• Work with external vendors on infrastructure solutions and services, and help evaluate vendor performance against SLAs.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, with hands-on experience in site support, networking and systems administration.

• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software and networking technologies.

• Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, cloud infrastructure and virtualisation.

• Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, compliance standards and disaster recovery planning.

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects and network maintenance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical users.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Willing to travel to Group sites when on-site support is needed.
