IT Intern

Salary: RM 800 – RM 1,000 per month

Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, and technology-related projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced IT professionals while developing practical skills in a corporate environment.

Job Responsibilities:-

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Support user account creation, password resets, and access management.

• Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.

• Assist in software installation, updates, and system maintenance.

• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

• Support network and infrastructure maintenance activities.

• Assist with data backup and recovery procedures.

• Participate in IT projects, testing, and system implementation activities.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.

• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Internship period of at least 3 months (or as required by the university).

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and basic troubleshooting techniques is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team
