IT Officer | 1 Year Contract | Up to $5000

Salary: $3,500 – $5,000 per month

💰 Salary: Up to $4500/month
🕐 Working Hours: 5 Days | 9AM – 6PM
📅 Employment Type: 1 Year Contract
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support to users via phone, email and in person.
Troubleshoot issues relating to software applications, hardware, network connectivity and IT systems.
Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure to ensure systems remain reliable and available.
Perform regular system checks, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Support printing operations, including resolving printer issues and managing print queues.
Assist users with generating, formatting and distributing operational reports.
Support the development and enhancement of internal systems based on operational requirements.
Assist with software testing, implementation, system updates and enhancements.
Work with the IT team to investigate and resolve more complex technical issues.
Liaise with internal departments to understand system and reporting requirements.
Monitor IT systems and services to identify potential issues and performance concerns.
Prepare reports on system status, support activities and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies, procedures and best practices.
Assist in identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities.
Support IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, testing, BCP/DRC exercises and system rollouts.
Provide feedback and contribute ideas to improve IT processes and service delivery.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Relevant experience in IT support, helpdesk, systems support or IT operations.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with hardware, software, networks and IT systems.
Comfortable supporting users with different levels of technical knowledge.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider IT team.
Candidates with experience in system development, reporting tools, BCP/DRC or IT project support will have an added advantage.
