IT Operations Engineer

Summary

The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, security, and day-to-day operation of Dash's production and non-production systems. The role supports incident management, system monitoring, operational changes, patch management, access administration, compliance activities, and audit readiness within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support business-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Respond to and manage production incidents, troubleshooting and coordinating recovery activities.
• Execute operational changes, releases, and patching activities following change management processes.
• Manage user and service account access, provisioning, and reviews.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and audit evidence.
• Support compliance, regulatory, and audit requirements, including MAS TRM guidelines.
• Work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to resolve operational issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Operations, Systems Operations or Production Support.
• Experience supporting production systems in regulated or mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, ticketing systems, and ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Linux/Unix operational experience preferred; Windows experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
