Summary
In-house leadership role in Kuala Lumpur driving the company's digital transformation: owning Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central (Finance) implementations, plus IT project delivery, Microsoft 365/Power Platform operations, vendor management and change management. Reports to the COO; 8–15 years' experience required.
Salary: RM 17,000 – RM 25,000 per month

As part of its ongoing digital transformation journey, the organisation is investing in modernising its corporate technology environment, strengthening business applications and improving operational efficiency through integrated digital solutions.
They are seeking an experienced IT Project & Business Applications Manager to take ownership of key technology initiatives, particularly across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance platforms.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in driving the organisation's corporate technology and digital transformation agenda.
This is an in-house leadership position that combines project management, business applications ownership, stakeholder engagement and organisational change management.
You will act as the internal champion for Microsoft Dynamics 365, leading the implementation and continuous development of its CRM and Finance systems while working closely with business departments and external technology partners.
Beyond system implementation, you will be responsible for ensuring successful adoption, improving business processes and building internal confidence in the organisation's technology capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Project Management & Delivery
Lead end-to-end corporate technology projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies and risks.
Oversee project delivery from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.
Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, milestones and delivery controls.
Coordinate internal stakeholders, external vendors and implementation partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
Monitor project progress, resolve delivery challenges and provide regular updates to senior management.
2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 – CRM & Finance
Act as the internal champion and key point of ownership for Microsoft Dynamics 365 business applications.
Lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365 CRM.
Oversee the planned implementation and migration of the organisation's Finance platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Work closely with Finance and other departments to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Coordinate system configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, UAT and go-live activities with implementation partners.
Ensure data integrity, system governance, user access controls and effective reporting.
Drive user adoption and ensure business teams maximise the value of the new systems.
3. Digital Transformation & Change Management
Drive internal digital transformation initiatives and support the adoption of new business applications.
Work closely with department heads and business users to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Lead change management activities, including stakeholder communication, user training and adoption programmes.
Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and greater utilisation of technology across the organisation.
4. Corporate Technology & IT Operations
Oversee the organisation's Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and related corporate applications.
Identify opportunities to improve system integration, workflow automation and operational efficiency through Microsoft Power Platform.
Ensure effective IT governance, cybersecurity, access management, licensing and business continuity.
Work with internal IT resources and external service providers to maintain reliable technology operations.
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage external technology vendors, implementation partners and service providers.
Establish clear project deliverables, service expectations, timelines and performance standards.
Build strong working relationships with Finance, HR, Operations and other business stakeholders.
Lead and coordinate internal technology resources while providing guidance and support to the wider organisation.
Provide technology recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership.
Requirements & Experience
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
Approximately 8–15 years of relevant experience in IT project management, business applications, enterprise systems or digital transformation.
Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise technology projects, ideally involving ERP, CRM or business application implementations.
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Dynamics 365 Business Central or other comparable enterprise platforms.
Experience managing external vendors, system integrators and implementation partners.
Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including requirements gathering, system integration, data migration, testing, UAT and deployment.
Experience driving organisational change, user adoption and business process improvement.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated leadership capability, with the potential to take on broader technology management responsibilities.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who combines strong project delivery capabilities with business awareness and people leadership.
You should be comfortable taking ownership of technology initiatives, influencing stakeholders, managing external partners and driving change across an organisation.
You do not necessarily need to be a hands-on developer or technical specialist. More importantly, you should understand enterprise applications, be confident leading implementation projects and have the ability to become a trusted internal champion for technology adoption.
