IT SPECIALIST
Summary
In-house IT specialist at a manufacturing company in Ipoh: supports ERP implementation and daily operations, troubleshoots hardware, network, and software issues, maintains IT security (antivirus, firewall, access control), and assists employees with technical support and training.
Salary: RM 2,200 – RM 3,300 per month
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES;
Support ERP implementation, maintenance, and daily operations.
Troubleshoot ERP issues and assist users.
Support data checking, reports, system updates, and user training.
Coordinate with ERP vendors and internal teams for smooth system operation.
Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
Support daily IT operations and minimize downtime.
Assist with network troubleshooting, data backup, and IT asset records.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, email, and business applications.
Assist employees with IT-related issues and basic system training.
Maintain IT records and documentation.
Monitor antivirus, firewall, system updates, and user access control.
Ensure data security and compliance with company IT policies.
Coordinate with ERP and IT vendors for system issues, upgrades, and maintenance.
Follow up on technical issues and support hardware/software procurement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS;
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of IT support experience is preferred.
Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of ERP systems, networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to communicate with users at all levels.
Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
Mandarin-speaking candidates will be an added advantage.
