IT Support & Business Growth
Summary
This role combines IT support and business growth, splitting time between technical delivery (Microsoft 365, Azure, cybersecurity) and marketing/client engagement. The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware/software issues while also creating content and building relationships to expand the company's presence in the Bundaberg region.
About the role
This role is split across two key areas: technical delivery (approximately 50%) and marketing, client engagement and business growth (approximately 50%). You'll work with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, cybersecurity, Copilot and AI-driven workplace tools — while helping clients understand the value behind the technology. This role can grow in either direction. If you lean into client relationships and business growth, it could become a dedicated Business Development / Account Growth role. If your strengths sit more in technical delivery, it could become a full-time technical pathway instead.
Key responsibilities
Provide professional support via phone, email and remote tools
Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and network issues
Own client issues through to resolution and keep documentation accurate
Assist with migrations, identity, security and modern workplace projects
Help grow MindCache's visibility across Bundaberg and the Wide Bay region
Create practical social media and client-facing content
Explain Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud, compliance and AI in plain English
Build relationships with clients, prospects and local business networks
About you
Full Australian working rights and current Australian Driver's Licence
2+ years' IT experience, ideally in an MSP environment
Relevant certification, qualification or equivalent practical experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence working with business owners, decision-makers and clients
Interest in marketing, social media, content and client education
Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working independently
Microsoft certifications and hands-on Microsoft 365 experience (favourable)
Entra ID, Intune, Azure, migrations, licensing or cloud administration (favourable)
Marketing, social media, content writing, sales support, account management or business development experience (favourable)
