IT Support Officer(One-year contract)
Summary
One-year contract IT Support Officer at a Hong Kong investment firm: handles end-user hardware/software support, maintains systems, networks, servers, email, printers, and SAN/NAS storage, manages procurement and license control, and assists with data center/cloud setups and system projects. Requires 2+ years of IT experience and Mandarin/English fluency.
Responsibilities
Provide support to end-users by solving problems on both hardware and software;
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable supports of computer systems, networking device & servers;
Maintain and monitor the company's computer system, network system, email, printer, SAN/NAS storage functions;
Procurement of hardware and software inventory/license control and relevant documentation control;
Data center/communications room collocation and/or cloud installation of services;
Upgrade or modify software systems, and/or operating systems to meet specialized needs of company operations.
Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of company system construction projects, assist in requirement analysis and technical selection.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline;
At least 2 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in financial institution, holder of related IT certificate is preferred;
Project management experience, able to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of system construction projects;
Experience in supplier selection, business negotiation, procurement, and invoice payment processing is preferred.
Good experience and knowledge in end user support is preferred;
Fluent in Mandarin and English;
Proactive, able to take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
