Summary
An outsourced IT System Administrator role (via RecruitFirst) supporting a client in Chinatown: day-to-day Level 2 support, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments including vendor-managed Azure Virtual Desktop, user lifecycle and software asset management, and cybersecurity tasks like patching and vulnerability management.

IT System Administrator
Location: Chinatown
Duration: Asap – Min 3 Months, Fri – Sun
Salary: Up to $6,000/Mth
Job scope:
- Managing and supporting IT systems, Microsoft 365, Azure services and vendor managed Azure Virtual Desktop
- Provided Level 2 technical support and resolve IT service requests and issues
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, user accounts, digital IDs, and software licenses
- Monitor IT operations, analyze trends and prepare service records
- Conduct product evaluations and market research for IT solutions
- Lead or support business and technology projects
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments for internal teams and client
- Oversee vendor-managed AVD services and monitor vendor performance and SLAs
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and user lifecycle activities
- Handle software asset management and ensure licensing compliance
- Support cybersecurity activities including system patching, vulnerability management, monitoring, and access review
- Manage IT incidents, service requests and system changes
- Providing operational support and service reporting to clients
- Ensure IT environments remain secure, reliable, available, and perform effectively
- Improve IT processes through proper documentation, standardization, and service management
- Support scalable cloud operations using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Singaporeans Only
- Min diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, cybersecurity Engineering or related discipline
- 2-4 years' experience in IT operations, system administration, infrastructure support, managed services, or IT consulting environments
- Hands-on administration of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services
- Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop environments
- Experience with software licensing, software asset management and compliance activities
- Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, endpoint security, MFA, Conditional Access, and patch management
- Experience working within ITIL-aligned incident, request, problem, and change management processes
