Your tasks **Why this position exists** Schools are digitalising – and they need people who understand technology and enjoy working with people. You support schools in your region holistically: from the educational network through WLAN and end devices to the administrative network. About half of your time you are on site at the schools, the other half you work remotely or in the office. Hardly any IT job shows you more directly what you work for: so that teaching works. Important: We fill this role according to experience level – from a motivated entry with 1–2 years of admin experience to an experienced professional who is responsible for school IT concepts for entire school authorities. We adapt tasks, goals and salary to your level. **Your role – four focus areas** **Operations & support (approx. 50%):** You administer educational networks (e.g. paedML, MNSPro) and administrative environments – servers, clients, WLAN and Mobile Device Management for tablet and notebook classes. You are the familiar face for school principals and teachers. **Implementing projects (approx. 30%):** New equipment, migrations and WLAN rollouts – the holidays are our project time, in which you take schools to the next level. **Concept & consulting (approx. 15%):** You advise school authorities on sensible solutions and develop – depending on experience level – infrastructure concepts for individual schools up to entire school authorities. **Documentation & standards (approx. 5%):** You keep environments cleanly documented and contribute your ideas to our school IT standards. **What we jointly measure success by after 12 months** - You independently look after your own portfolio of schools - You have built solid paedML know-how (we will teach you this) and applied it in projects - At least one holiday project (e.g. new equipment or migration) has been co-owned by you - For experienced profiles: an infrastructure concept for a school authority bears your signature The specific goals behind this we agree on together – depending on your entry level. Must haves **What you bring** - Practical experience administering Windows and/or Linux environments – 1–2 years is enough, more is welcome - Solid networking fundamentals (IP, VLAN, WLAN) - Enjoyment of working with people who are not IT professionals – patience and a service mindset included - Independent way of working, because at the schools you are our face - Negotiation-proof German, driving licence class B (our fleet is almost entirely electric) **What we do NOT expect** - Prior knowledge of paedML, MNSPro or other school solutions – we will teach you this - A teaching qualification - Ten years of professional experience We are more interested in where you want to go than where you come from. Motivation beats seniority. What we offer **Your development path** Structured onboarding with 30- and 100-day conversations, a personal mentor from the school IT team, certifications and manufacturer trainings paid by us, as well as the training offer of our indasys Academy. Your perspective: Consultant School IT, project management – or responsibility for an entire site. **Our top 3 benefits** 1. **Option of a 4-day week:** Work 4 × 9 hours, 3 days off. Every week. 2. **Performance bonus for everyone:** 50% of our monthly generated surplus goes to the team – from day one, including for beginners. 3. **Flexible working:** Home office as needed, core hours only 10–15 o'clock. We look forward to seeing you in the office 1–2 days per week. **Additionally:** Social bonus (regular salary increase without negotiation), company pension scheme, JobRad, weekly massages during working hours, 4Seasons team events, free drinks and fruit, climate-neutral company building with an electric fleet and our own charging stations. And if you move to Stuttgart for the job: our penthouse shared flat in the company building can make your start easier. **How to apply – in 3 minutes** A CV **or** LinkedIn profile is sufficient. No cover letter, no certificates in the first step. We would just like one question answered in advance from you: **Why does IT in schools particularly appeal to you?** (Three honest sentences are enough.) Questions in advance? You can reach our Talent Management by phone at 0711 896659157.
