IT Technical Support Administrator
Summary
IT technical support administrator in Hong Kong maintaining server infrastructure day to day: managing Active Directory accounts and permissions, storage capacity planning, backups and disaster recovery with Veeam, IT asset inventory, and monitoring with SolarWinds. Core stack includes Exchange Server, Hyper-V, Linux and networking; night and shift work required.
Salary: $24,000 – $25,000 per month
Responsibilities:
Active Directory & Identity Management: Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and auditing user domain accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
Storage & Capacity Planning: Demonstrated ability to perform folder capacity analysis, monitor storage utilization trends, and project future infrastructure needs.
Data Protection & Backup Management: Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and testing comprehensive backup handling and disaster recovery plans.
IT Asset & Inventory Management: Practical experience executing hardware and software stock takes to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
At least 3 years’ experience in Information Technology area, in which 2-3 years in IT infrastructure
Experience in Exchanger Servers and Hyper-V
Experience in Veeam & Solarwinds
Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, analytical skills and detail-oriented
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Accuracy and attention to detail
Willing to work on night and shift
Experience in networking and Linux is an advantage
