IVI Integration Engineer
Summary
Designs and integrates in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems for VinFast's electric vehicles: defining system architecture and technical requirements, reviewing change requests, managing suppliers, and supporting vehicle integration and issue resolution. Core tech includes Android Automotive OS/Linux and CAN, LIN, and Ethernet protocols.

- Research and design the overall architecture of the Infotainment (IVI) system for each vehicle platform/model.
- Develop technical requirements and standards for hardware and software components related to Infotainment and Connectivity systems.
- Create, maintain, and update technical requirement documents for all IVI features.
- Conduct technical reviews and assessments of proposed requirement changes related to the Infotainment System from the System Design team and other relevant departments.
- Manage and monitor suppliers to ensure the timely development and delivery of Infotainment hardware and software in line with vehicle program milestones.
- Support the integration of IVI systems into vehicles, ensuring compatibility, stability, and optimal performance.
- Analyze issues identified during development and field operation, and collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective solutions.
- Execute and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Design Change Requests (DCR).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Infotainment, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of IVI architecture, Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and/or Linux-based systems, and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Proven ability to develop technical documentation and conduct design evaluations/reviews.
- Good command of English, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience in project management related to Infotainment, Embedded Systems, or Automotive development projects.
