Java Application Developer
Summary
Builds resilient Java/Spring microservices on AWS, using AI-assisted tools to design and troubleshoot scalable backend systems.
Location: Bournemouth (5 days/week work from office)
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong full stack engineering background with deep expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot
- Hands‑on experience with cloud technologies (preference for AWS)
- Experience using AI‑assisted developer tools to improve engineering productivity (preference for agentic AI exposure)
- Solid data analysis skills and comfort working with data‑driven applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions for complex business and technical problems
- Apply sound engineering judgment and innovative thinking to deliver solutions beyond standard patterns when needed
- Contribute to technical architecture and design/build resilient microservices (scalability, reliability, maintainability)
