Java Developer
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Java Software Engineer to join our technology team supporting enterprise banking and Wealth Management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
You will be responsible for developing scalable and robust applications, resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement Java-based applications Develop backend services using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST/SOAP web services Analyse business and system requirements and translate them into technical solutions Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues Perform SQL query optimization and database-related development Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance best practices Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams Support continuous integration and test-driven development practices Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery Requirements
Must-Have Skills Strong experience in Core Java 8+ Spring Boot and Spring Framework JUnit and Test-Driven Development (TDD) REST API and SOAP Web Services Maven SQL and Relational Databases (Oracle/MySQL) IBM MQ / JMS Messaging Concepts Linux Shell Scripting Git and SonarQube/SonarLint Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms Experience in Agile/Scrum environments Good-to-Have Skills Kafka ReactJS JBoss or Application Server knowledge JPA / EJB / JSF Banking or Financial Services domain experience Exposure to Wealth Management systems
