Java Developer
Summary
Builds, maintains, and supports Java and Spring Boot backend applications and legacy enterprise systems, handling bug fixes, root cause analysis, and integrations with third-party systems, POS terminals, and REST/SOAP APIs. Based in the Philippines, working on-site with a team on design, testing, and deployment.
Job Duties：
Develop, maintain, and enhance systems built using Java technologies.
Support and maintain existing Java legacy applications and enterprise systems.
Develop and maintain Spring Boot-based web services and backend applications.
Perform root cause analysis on reported issues, incidents, and system defects.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and implement bug fixes in a timely manner.
Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring issues.
Participate in system integration activities with third‑party systems, hardware devices, POS terminals, and external services.
Develop, maintain, and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
Collaborate with team members in designing, testing, deploying, and supporting software solutions.
Prepare technical documentation and assist in user acceptance and production support activities.
Job Requirements：
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related course.
At least 2 years experience.
Knowledgeable in Java Programming, Spring Framework and Spring Boot
Knowledgeable in SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
Good analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and source control tools.
Preferred / Plus Qualifications：
Knowledgeable in Junit and Unit Testing methodologies.
Knowledge in concurrent programming, multithreading, and synchronization concepts.
Knowledge of system integration and interface development.
Experience with Apache Camel, Apache Tomcat Application Server.
Experience with Git, Maven, Apache Camel
Candidate with AI programming experience.
