Job Overview

We are seeking a Java Developer (hybrid from Gdynia) to join our engineering team. The person in this role will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services and applications using Java technologies.

This role is hybrid with at least 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend components and services using Java and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineering colleagues to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following established best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and architecture.
• Document designs, APIs, and operational procedures as required.

Qualifications

Must have skills:

• DevOps way of work;
• Java 21 preferably with Spring Boot framework and microservices knowledge and APIs;
• Knowledge of Kafka;
• Good Team player;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Maven;
• JOLT.
