We are seeking a Java Developer to join a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a secure public-facing website based on a microservices architecture. The person in this role will contribute as both a back-end developer and a system designer, helping to improve architecture, deployment processes, and engineering practices. The position requires hybrid attendance in Wrocław and a start date of 01.07.2026.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain back-end services within a microservices architecture.
  • Develop new features and enhance existing functionality for a secure public-facing website.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
  • Improve system architecture, deployment pipelines, and software engineering practices.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high quality and maintainability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, applying critical thinking to identify root causes.
  • Document design decisions, system behaviour, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in information technology, including commercial Java development.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand complex systems and make sound technical decisions.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with microservices, deployment pipelines, and software engineering best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with Python is an advantage.
