Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in relation to GST and TDS returns. This role is perfect for recent graduates or those with limited experience looking to grow their career in accounting. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Assist in the preparation of TDS returns and maintain accurate records of TDS deductions. - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. - Conduct vendor reconciliations to verify outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies. - Maintain the general ledger and assist in month-end closing processes. - Support senior accountants in various accounting tasks and projects as needed. Required Skills: - Knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and filing processes. - Familiarity with accounting software and tools. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - CA Inter qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
