Junior RPA Developer
About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Automation Developer (Python) to support our client's IT Automation initiatives. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and improving Python-based automation scripts for internal business processes. The ideal candidate has strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop clean, modular, and maintainable code.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts primarily using Python.
Automate internal business processes, including system integration, data processing, and notifications.
Design and implement modular, reusable, and maintainable Python code.
Develop scripts capable of running unattended through a centralized orchestration platform.
Support the migration of existing automation scripts from UiPath and Power Automate to a new orchestration platform.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing scripts to ensure reliability and performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into automation solutions.
Maintain proper source code versioning and technical documentation.
About you
0–2 years of experience in Python programming or software development; fresh graduates are welcome.
Hands-on experience developing Python scripts or applications through professional work, internships, freelance assignments, academic projects, or personal projects.
Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals, including functions, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and modular code structure.
Ability to read, understand, troubleshoot, and debug existing code using IDE debugging tools such as VS Code or PyCharm.
Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
Familiarity with Git for source code version control.
Experience completing at least one functional programming project with a modular code structure.
Good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn new technologies.
