Junior Software Engineer
Salary: RM 3,000 – RM 4,500 per month
About the role
We're looking for a Junior Software Engineer to develop and maintain our full-stack web applications and business systems.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain systems using Laravel 12, React and TypeScript, including backend APIs, frontend admin portals, customer portals and public websites.
Maintain data models, migrations, service layers, middleware, MySQL schemas, indexes and access permissions.
Optimise system performance and maintainability, including large-list pagination, search-state persistence, database indexing, API queries and precision utilities.
Integrate third-party services and external APIs, including payment gateways, notifications, file uploads and accounting systems.
Investigate technical issues, debug applications and resolve bugs.
Handle system deployment, environment configuration and version releases.
About you
1–2 years of experience in full-stack web application development, covering both frontend and backend.
Experience working with APIs and relational databases.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-structured code.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Able to communicate in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Experience in mobile application development is an added advantage.
