Summary
Early-career (fresher, <1 yr experience) engineer building features for Taskwiser's hiring platform and internal tools: developing and integrating APIs, working with databases, writing and testing code, and joining code reviews. Core stack familiarity expected in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, REST APIs, SQL, and Git; Node.js/React/Next.js/PostgreSQL are pluses. Fully remote within India.

Eligibility
- Open only to freshers and candidates with less than 1 year (under 12 months) of total professional work experience. Candidates with 1 year or more of experience are not eligible.
- Indian citizens only, based in India.
- This is a full-time, fully remote role. The company is based in New Delhi; relocation to New Delhi is not required.
- No prior full-time work experience is required. Academic, personal, internship, and open-source projects are welcome as evidence of your skills.
What you will do
- Help build and maintain features for our hiring platform and internal tools.
- Develop and integrate APIs, work with databases, and contribute to user-facing functionality.
- Write readable code, test your changes, investigate bugs, and document your work.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders.
- Learn to improve application reliability, performance, and security.
What we are looking for
- A foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem solving.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python, plus basic web development concepts.
- An understanding of REST APIs, SQL or relational databases, and Git.
- At least one academic, personal, internship, or open-source project you can explain clearly.
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and act on feedback.
- Ability to collaborate remotely from India.
Helpful, but not required
Exposure to Node.js, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, automated testing, or cloud deployment. Interest in AI-enabled products and developer tools is welcome. You do not need to know every technology listed to apply.
Compensation
Annual salary: ₹14–15 LPA (₹14,00,000–₹15,00,000 per year).
