Lead Data Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Lead Data Integration Engineer to join our team. This role is central to ensuring data flows reliably across systems to support informed business decisions. Responsibilities

• Guide the design and ongoing evolution of data integration solutions that support evolving business needs
• Mentor and support team members, fostering best practices and consistent quality across data engineering work
• Coordinate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
• Oversee the stability and reliability of data pipelines, addressing issues proactively before they impact downstream processes
• Contribute to planning and prioritization efforts, helping align technical delivery with broader project timelines and goals

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Data Warehouse projects
• At least one year of experience leading and managing teams
• Experience architecting, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Background integrating and delivering data solutions for business intelligence using Power BI
• Proven ability to continuously improve pipeline and transformation code for better performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Ability to understand business requirements related to data projects and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience with front-end tools such as Power BI, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and Tabular Models
• Familiarity with management tools and methodologies, including JIRA, Agile methodology, and ServiceNow
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
• Proficiency in query languages, including MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and analytics workloads
• Familiarity with Salesforce Informatica, Snowflake, and dbt for data integration and transformation purposes
