Senior Data Integration Engineer

Our team is looking to bring on board a highly capable Senior Data Integration Engineer. This position plays a crucial part in making sure data moves dependably between systems so that sound business decisions can be made. Responsibilities

• Direct the architecture and continuous refinement of data integration solutions that keep pace with shifting business needs
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting sound practices and dependable quality throughout data engineering efforts
• Work in close partnership with business stakeholders to convert their requirements into practical, effective technical approaches
• Monitor the reliability and stability of data pipelines, catching and addressing problems before they affect processes further downstream
• Play a role in planning and prioritization work, helping keep technical delivery in sync with wider project schedules and objectives

Requirements

• At least 3 years of applicable background working on Data Warehouse initiatives
• Background designing, constructing, and sustaining data pipelines through Azure Data Factory
• Experience delivering and integrating business intelligence solutions by way of Power BI
• Demonstrated skill in refining pipeline and transformation code on an ongoing basis to boost performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Capacity to grasp business requirements tied to data initiatives and convert them into workable technical solutions
• Background using front-end tools such as Power BI, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and Tabular Models
• Working knowledge of management tools and approaches, including JIRA, Agile methodology, and ServiceNow
• Practical experience with ETL tools, specifically Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse
• Strong command of query languages, including MS SQL Server and Oracle PL/SQL
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Background working with Azure Synapse Analytics to support data warehousing and analytics needs
• Exposure to Salesforce Informatica, Snowflake, and dbt for handling data integration and transformation tasks
