Key Responsibilities: •Technical leadership: - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality designs including preparation of equipment data sheet, stress calculation & etc. •Design oversight: - Prepare Material Requisition and TBE for Purchasing order and review & approval of vendor documents to compliance with project requirements. •Design coordination: - Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process piping, electrical, civil) to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of mechanical components within the overall system. •Problem-solving: - Identify and troubleshoot design issues, proposing innovative solutions and working with the team to implement corrective actions. •Project management: - Contribute to project planning and scheduling, ensuring that design tasks are completed on time and within budget. •Quality assurance: - Establish and maintain quality standards for mechanical designs, conducting inspections and reviews to ensure adherence to specifications. |
