Mechanical Engineering | 20 Years | 1 | Korea / Kuwait | A Lead Design Engineer - Piping is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of piping engineers in the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for Petrochemical Projects. Key Responsibilities: •Technical leadership: - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of piping engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality designs such as Pipe routing study & 3D Model review. •Design oversight: - Prepare and review of Piping engineering deliverables including calculations and specifications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements. •Design coordination: - Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, electrical, instrument, civil) to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within the overall project. •Problem-solving: - Identify and troubleshoot piping design issues, proposing innovative solutions and working with the team to implement corrective actions. •Project management: - Contribute to project planning and scheduling, ensuring that piping design tasks are completed on time and within budget. •Quality assurance: - Establish and maintain quality standards for piping designs, conducting inspections and reviews to ensure adherence to specifications. |
