Lead Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Lead a team building avatar-driven digital products, designing full-stack architectures with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, and AI tools while mentoring engineers and improving code quality and security.
You will guide the technical direction, architecture, and execution of avatar-driven digital products. You will contribute hands-on across the stack, build interactive interfaces and robust services, mentor engineers, partner with product and design stakeholders, and improve quality, security, testing, observability, and delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the architectural vision and implementation strategy for full-stack systems
- Establish technical standards, patterns, and scalable frameworks across frontend and backend
- Integrate and evaluate AI tools for planning, code generation, debugging, and testing
- Champion AI adoption by sharing workflows, prompt strategies, and tooling discoveries
- Contribute maintainable, reliable, and performant code
- Build interactive user interfaces, APIs, and backend services
- Mentor engineers through structured guidance, code reviews, and feedback
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to create implementation plans
- Identify technical risks, scalability challenges, architectural needs, and service-design tradeoffs
- Improve developer velocity, operational efficiency, and code quality
- Champion security, testing, and observability practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years in technical leadership or mentorship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to design and scale distributed, high-performance web applications
- Expertise with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Next.js
- Backend development experience with Go, Python, or similar languages
- Fluency with NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs and familiarity with event-driven architectures
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL patterns
- Knowledge of OWASP Top Ten and OAuth 2.0
- Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using AI tools in development workflows
- Ability to lead technical and non-technical discussions
