Lead Full stack Engineer with Nodejs & React Native Exp

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer with Node.js & React Native Experience based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of modern web and mobile applications that support ambitious digital and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
You will combine strong full-stack engineering expertise with hands-on mobile development experience to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performing products.
Working across Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, and React Native, you will contribute to architecture, technical direction, and end-to-end application delivery.
As a technical leader, you will guide engineering decisions, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and establish strong development practices.

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing web and mobile applications.
• Drive technical initiatives across the full application stack, from backend services and APIs to web and mobile user experiences.
• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
• Build responsive web applications and user interfaces using React.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Develop and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Apply strong software engineering principles, including SOLID principles, clean architecture, maintainable coding practices, and appropriate design patterns.
• Design application architectures that support scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
• Work with databases and data-access technologies, including SQL and TypeORM, to develop efficient and reliable data solutions.
• Implement appropriate application security practices aligned with OWASP standards and secure software-development principles.
• Lead technical discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, and identify opportunities to improve application design and engineering practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and establish standards that promote code quality, consistency, security, and maintainability.
• Mentor and support other engineers, helping develop technical capabilities and encouraging strong engineering practices across the team.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest to support reliable and high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders to translate product requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across development workflows, engineering processes, tooling, and application performance.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in full-stack software development, with demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering decisions.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, and React.js.
• Practical experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience with TypeORM, Jest, SQL, relational databases, and fundamental data-modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, clean coding practices, design patterns, and maintainable application development.
• Strong knowledge of application security principles and OWASP standards.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, performing code reviews, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring other developers.
• Mobile development experience with either iOS technologies such as Swift/SwiftUI or Android technologies such as Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make sound architectural decisions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers, product stakeholders, and distributed teams.
• Comfortable working independently while taking ownership of technical outcomes and delivery commitments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD practices is considered a plus.
• Adaptability, continuous-learning mindset, and enthusiasm for working with evolving technologies and modern software-development approaches.
