Lead Java Programmer

Summary

Lead a Java-based HRIS implementation, customizing and optimizing the system while mentoring developers and guiding digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • HRIS Implementation and Optimization
  • Spearhead the deployment, customization, and continuous improvement of the company's Java-based HRIS system.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues or system bugs.
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements based on evolving HR needs to ensure system efficiency and performance.
  • Digital Transformation and IT Advisory
  • Collaborate with the IT department to integrate digital solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to strengthen the team’s proficiency in Java and software development.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support the seamless integration of digital tools that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
  • Act as the primary Java development expert within the organization.
  • Guide junior and senior developers in learning new programming languages and frameworks.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer processes to empower in-house teams and minimize reliance on external providers.
  • Quality Assurance and System Maintenance
  • Establish and maintain rigorous testing and QA procedures to guarantee software stability and accuracy.
  • Deliver comprehensive documentation, training, and technical support to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development, with expertise in Java frameworks and libraries (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
  • Proven experience leading complex software implementations, preferably HRIS or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend development frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and experience with data migration and API integration.
  • Knowledge of digital transformation principles and experience working on enterprise-level digital initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor less experienced developers.
