Summary
Contract role (12 months + 2x12-month extensions) via FinXL for a Lead Systems Analyst / Senior Solution Design Manager who translates business requirements into technical designs, leads ICT application services and team operations, and manages stakeholders with high autonomy. Requires Australian Baseline clearance; tools include SharePoint, JIRA, HP ALM and HP Content Manager.

FinXL is currently seeking a Lead Systems Analyst and Senior Solution Design Manager who operates with a significant degree of independence and high level of autonomy. The successful candidate will translate business requirements into technical requirements that align with relevant architectures. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and articulating strategy, delivering all ICT application services to achieve strategic objectives, and leading the deployment of future enhancements to existing ICT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee team operations, including managing resources, workflow, established priorities, and business performance.
- Align the value chain with portfolio, development, and solution packaging.
- Develop and execute a solution vision for product expansion within a category.
- Drive innovation, lead change management, and promote continuous improvement.
- Translate market trends, insights, and customer needs into relevant solutions.
- Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing applications, developing strategies to leverage systems for strategic business objectives.
- Identify and resolve system issues while ensuring applications meet business and end-user requirements.
- Use performance indicators, progress against outcomes, and quality assurance reports to inform future planning and strategic direction.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with other service providers and agencies to build service delivery capability.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and attend interagency forums to influence business outcomes.
- Oversee, review, and advise on technical and corporate written material.
Technical Skill Required
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and working experience with SharePoint.
- Knowledge and working experience with HP Content Manager.
- Knowledge and working experience with JIRA.
- Knowledge and working experience with HP ALM.
