What you’ll be doing…

In this position you will drive operational excellence, strategic logistical coordination, vendor strategy, and financial oversight across the Global Learning and Development organization. You will architect, optimize, and execute scalable operational solutions for employee onboarding, facilities management, vendor deployment, and intake pipeline management. In this role, you will connect complex tools, data streams, cross-functional teams, and automated workflows while leading the alignment with our evolving digital-first architecture and agent-assisted learning operating models.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing end-to-end technical training rollouts and complex learning administration for enterprise-wide initiatives. Establishing operational frameworks to govern event execution, trainer resourcing, and capacity planning across both virtual and physical learning environments.
  • Directing technical training facility footprint, equipment logistics, vehicle fleet deployment, and large-scale operational training spaces. Leading the end-to-end strategy, design, build, and lifecycle management for physical technical labs powering critical Network training programs.
  • Managing high-value SOW (Statement of Work) contractor deployments and schedules for onsite/virtual programs. Leveraging advanced learning analytics to model budget allocations, evaluate spend, track facility utilization, and hold external vendors accountable to performance SLAs.
  • Serving as a senior enablement partner within the automated intake funnel, triaging and prioritizing incoming business requests across all enterprise channels. Guiding executive stakeholders toward self-service solutions, smart intake models, and curated, learner-prioritized content structures.
  • Driving process optimization across design, delivery, digital, compliance, and enablement teams. Applying continuous improvement principles to identify operational bottlenecks, eliminate process waste, and reduce cycle times from request intake to final deployment.

In this remote role, you'll work from home with occasional in-person trainings and meetings.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Current HR and/or Learning & Development experience.
  • Experience in training delivery and/or instructional design.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience managing complex operational throughput, automated demand-management systems, and financial tracking in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in Learning Operations, Learning Administration, and/or Event Planning.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and strong applied project management experience across cross-functional matrixed teams.
  • Advanced ability to leverage learning analytics to identify trends, optimize operational performance, and influence stakeholder decision-making regarding financial and facility efficiency.
  • Experience applying process design principles (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to eliminate operational waste, streamline handoffs, and accelerate sprint velocity.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
