Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician – Anesthesia to join our Specialty Support Team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and is passionate about patient safety and anesthesia excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and manage anesthesia for stable and critical patients, including multi-species cases

• Maintain accurate anesthetic records and interpret patient vitals

• Prepare, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain anesthesia equipment

• Assist with induction, intubation, injections, local blocks, and epidurals

• Assess pain and support multimodal analgesia plans

• Collaborate closely with veterinarians and specialty teams

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile anesthesia and surgical environment

What We’re Looking For

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT preferred)

• Strong math skills and comfort with CRIs and drug calculations

• Solid understanding of anesthetic drugs, monitoring, and side effects

• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-stress situations

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
