We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full- time Veterinary Technician to join our Dentistry & Oral Surgery Department. If you are enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of animals and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!
At AERC, our Dentistry Technicians are deeply involved in the technical and procedural side of dental care—from diagnostics and charting to assisting with advanced procedures. If you love detail-oriented work, diagnostics, and seeing a case through from start to finish, this role gives you the opportunity to fully use and grow your skills.
What You’ll Do
- Take and ensure high-quality full-mouth dental radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings, charting, and periodontal assessments
- Assist veterinarians with advanced dental procedures and oral surgery
- Accurately document findings, treatments, and client communication in the EMR
- Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment and instruments
- Ensure proper instrument care, sterilization, and workflow efficiency
- Educate clients on dental health, home care, and follow-up needs
- Collaborate closely with the anesthesia team to support efficient procedures
