Job Title: Maintenance Manager Purpose of the Role The Maintenance Manager is a critical position within the organization, accountable for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities in the plant. This role ensures that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulations. Scope of Work - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime. - Supervise daily maintenance activities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are functioning optimally. - Conduct safety audits regularly to ensure adherence to safety management protocols, including compliance with the factory act. - Collaborate with the safety manager to promote a culture of safety within the workplace and address any safety-related issues promptly. - Manage maintenance budgets and expenditures effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management review. - Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality performance. Candidate Requirements - Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in plant maintenance. - In-depth knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and mechanical maintenance principles. - Familiarity with safety management practices and regulatory requirements related to industrial operations. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with all levels of staff.
