Maintenance Manager

Position Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities within the plant to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of preventive maintenance, mechanical systems, and safety regulations as outlined in the factory act. The Maintenance Manager will implement strategic maintenance programs and lead safety audits to ensure compliance with industry standards. Principal Responsibilities - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance plant reliability. - Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks. - Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify potential issues. - Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as necessary. - Ensure all maintenance practices comply with safety management protocols and regulatory requirements. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management. - Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. - Monitor budget expenditures related to maintenance operations and recommend cost-saving measures. Eligibility and Qualifications - A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred. - Proven experience in plant or mechanical maintenance management is required. - Comprehensive knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety regulations.
